The Cinque Terre National Park includes the upper Sanctuary Way trail, which passes by the Little House, and the beautiful, lower “Sentiero Verde-Azzurro” (“The Green-Blue Path”) which hugs the coast and connects the five villages. In between, and linking up these two important walks, there is a vast network of shorter hikes.
Also, along the Ligurian coast, both North and South of the Little House, there are numerous attractions, hikes and parks to explore; visits and tastings that add excitement, fun and variety to your short or long stay.
We’d like to share just a few of the many possibilities.
(35 km / 22 miles) The AV5T1 trail passes through the Regional Natural Park of Beigua, the Natural Park of the Ligurian Alps , the Regional Park of Marcarolo of Tabernacles and the Regional Natural Park dell'Aveto. The point of maximum altitude reached along the “high trail”is the Monte Saccarello (2201 m). The Alta via dei Monti Liguri is also part of Italy’s national hiking trail called "Sentiero Italia" (the Italian Trail, or Si).
