A NOTE ABOUT US.
Carol Sicbaldi, a long-time designer and guide of hiking, cycling and gastronomic tours and the Founder/Owner of Carol’s Moveable Feast, has lived in Italy for over 20 years. Her strong attachment to the Cinque Terre is rooted in her family’s history in the Piedmont-Liguria border area and her love of the area’s culture, cuisine and scenic beauty. Cambuè stirs up nostalgia and strong ties to her grandfather and keen nurseryman, Pietro Sicbaldi. She has long thought of it as a little slice of heaven. Carol came across The Little House while hiking on the Sanctuary Trail and immediately fell in love with it and recognized its potential as a serene haven for adventurous travelers. Carol is passionate about sharing authentic and transformative Italian experiences with open-hearted travelers and would love to do that with you.
Steve Seike, a native of San Francisco, has for decades interspersed his career as a software engineer with extensive periods of traveling and living in Europe. An avid bicyclist and hiker, Steve has a passion for seeking out the most beautiful spots on the earth. Now retired and planning to relocate to Italy, Steve shared Carol’s vision of what The Little House could be and has eagerly collaborated with Carol in bringing it to free-spirited nature lovers seeking a snug and beautifully located base for their explorations in the Cinque Terre and the wider region of Liguria.
